‘Tangerine is about transformation’ says Stark, and on the surface it would appear this way too – even the artwork we see now differs greatly from the country horror we once saw. Though it’s difficult to pin Stark down to one genre, this newer direction sees a more dreamy outcome with melodic vocals weaving over her band as well as a 12-piece string section.
The ‘through yer eyes’ version of the music video features fans from around the world who all look like they’re in the exact same proverbial boat as Jesse Jo, making for wonderfully inclusive visuals to accompany this encapsulating track.
