Bursting onto the scene at Glasgow’s Tenement Trail festival last year with the coveted 1am slot and a second sold out show supporting Walt Disco, Autobahn 86 have made a name for themselves as ones to watch from Scotland. Following the release of ‘National Health Service’ in April, ‘Silence’ is the latest offering from the group.
The track wastes no time, diving head first into pounding drums and piercing synths. The instrumental energy is backed up by Madden’s menacing vocal delivery, lead singer of Glasgow trailblazers Baby Strange. Johnny Madden’s career as a producer at 7 West Studios means he’s no stranger to big tunes like ‘Silence’ and this confidence shines through. The collaborations that Autobahn 86 have released so far are nothing short of brilliant and the band are showing no signs of stopping soon.
