  • ‘Cool’ is the newest release from Dutch five-piece EUT.
  • Their latest single is in support of their second album ‘Party Time’.
  • FFO: Pip Blom, The Big Moon & Bad Sounds.

EUT are one of Europe’s most exciting new acts. Their debut album ‘Fool for the Vibes’ earned them slots at festivals across the continent as well as an impressive support slot with Beck. The release of latest single ‘Cool’ follows their single ‘Party Time’, which came out in October, and it takes the band in a slightly calmer direction.

As a laid-back and catchy pop tune, ‘Cool’ is what EUT do best. Their unique indie-pop is spiced up with the occasional fuzzy guitar and wonky synth while the lyrics, courtesy of vocalist Megan de Klerk, are relatable and delivered in an effortlessly cool manner. The band confidently own their distinctive sound that’s both accessible and exciting.

With less than a month until the release of their next album, ‘Cool’ is likely the last single we’ll see from the band until after the 19th of February. EUT are a band that know exactly what they’re doing and with their sophomore album on its way, it won’t be a surprise if EUT are the next big thing to come out of the Netherlands.
