- Everything great about 60’s music, beautifully melted into one
- The South London trio are setting off on a UK tour, including a headline slot at The Lexington
We’re in love, and this time it’s with the new release from psychedelic 60’s pop purveyors Honey Moon, ’Stop and Listen’; a sumptuous concoction featuring a sprinkling of Motown, a dash of 90’s Brit-Pop, and the flavourful undertones of Bowie circa ‘Sound and Vision’. ‘Stop and Listen’ expertly turns the tale of a fragmented relationship into something that sounds almost triumphant. The song juxtaposes its subject matter with a boogie-worthy beat, and with rising horns, its a tune you’ll be singing along to from sunrise to sunset.
The group already have the official seal of approval from CLASH, WONDERLAND and Sir Elton John himself to name but a few, and their stardom is only set to grow with their streams soaring into the millions and a UK tour lined up for this February. It’s safe to say that the band will only keep getting better, and I can confirm that our Honey Moon period has only just begun.
