Have you ever dreamt of a band that combine all of your favourite indie-pop artists into one? Well, Roma Palace may just be the answer.
Their debut single ‘Tell Me’, released in January, is an instant hit and will leave you counting down the seconds until summer. David Ngochinya (Drums) and Craig Glynn (Bass) combine to bring an 80s groove not dissimilar to French indie favourites Phoenix, whilst Pol Mira’s (Vocals/Guitar) infectious vocals and indie hooks will have you reaching for the repeat button by the end.
If that wasn’t enough, B-side ‘Change’ shows a level of maturity that shows beyond doubt that Roma Palace are here to stay. With the rhythm section once again driving the song, the funky, blues-esque riff coupled with the effortless harmonies on top, show that the band have an exciting future ahead.
The Brighton-trio are already making waves across the UK having been shortlisted as finalists in the renowned Glastonbury Festival 2019 Emerging Talent Competition. Even if the Main Stage evades them on this occasion, don’t be surprised to see them on the line-up for many years to come.
