Since forming in Somerset in 2015, China Bears have built up a loyal following and have received airplay from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Radio X. Their latest single ‘Stay for Good’, released on 22 March 2019, is a controlled song that combines both songwriting skill and care to create a unique sense of intimacy, whilst also a feeling that it could fill a stadium at the same time; a craft even the most accomplished bands would be proud of.

Whilst the misery-strewn anthem wouldn’t look out of place in a Snow Patrol or The National setlist, China Bears have created their own distinctive style. The UK festival scene has been crying out for an indie anthem like ‘Stay for Good’ for years, with the raw lyrics and powerful chorus belonging on the biggest stages to be sung back by adoring fans. The release is the band’s first since signing for London-based independent record label, Fierce Panda and adds to their three already self-released singles ‘Meet Me In London’, ‘Hydra’ and ‘Night Calls’. You can catch the band at The Great Escape in Brighton next month.
