Relentless, dirty and effortlessly cool; the only possible words that can be used to describe ‘High Heel Heavy’, the latest single from Manchester’s new kids on the block, Mister Strange.
Landing somewhere between leather-clad, long haired, cool-guy rock and 70’s glam, ‘High Heel Heavy’ drips its way into your subconscious. The relentlessly thundering guitar, with its gentle fuzz and undeniably dirty sound drive the song, plowing alongside vocalist Tomas Walmsley’s seductive cries, creating a sound reminiscent of bands from the CBGB scene of the 70’s.
The band have recently signed to Swedish indie label PNKSLM Recordings (home to the like of ShitKid, Yung & HOLY) and have already garnered support from CLASH Magazine, So Young, Dork and Brooklyn Vegan. Mister Strange are set to announce a string of U.K. tour dates for this autumn.
