IOGTHY started out life as a poem under the name ‘My Severed Heart’ before then undergoing several reworks; scrapping it multiple times and then the fabrication of a reimagined backbone gave it a new lease of life.
Slick heartfelt-melodies lay upon a bed of electronic rhythm, some of them recorded using scrap metal about the studio. The song itself is centred around an internal conflict faced after realising the difficulties of a relationship that seemed to be damaged even before it was allowed to flourish.
