Bull are a band with an impressive story. A trip to Berlin and a house party with SPIRAL STAIRS led to the band recording with Remko Schouten (Pavement, The Jicks, Sun Kill Moon) in Amsterdam. From there, the York four-piece have toured Europe, headlined shows across the UK and played the prestigious South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.

Their latest single ‘Love Goo’ is Bull on top form. Acoustic guitars move the track forward while backing vocals come from every direction, complimenting vocalist Tom Beer’s laid-back, almost talkative, singing. There’s ear candy everywhere in ‘Love Goo’. Synths pop in and out providing great texture, and extra percussion adds a touch of extra groove during the track’s choruses.

At only two-and-a-half minutes, ‘Love Goo’ is Bull distilled to their core components. There’s flourish where it’s needed but Bull’s latest single does exactly what it needs to. The band’s slacker-pop is the ideal soundtrack for these difficult times; upbeat, relaxed and optimistic. Bull take their listeners to a better headspace, something we all need right now.
